Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to heat up?
Plan on roughly a day for the first heat. Filling from a cold tap it climbs about 1 to 2°F an hour up to the 104°F maximum, so most people fill it in the morning and get in the next evening. After that the insulated cover holds the temperature and it only has to top up, which is why owners who use it a few times a week just leave it set.
Does it really fit 6 people?
Six adults fit if you are friendly, which is what most owners say. It is 85 inches across the outside and 65 inches across the inside, and four adults can stretch out comfortably. Two people can lie back completely.
Can I use it in winter?
Yes, and a lot of owners rate it highest in the cold. The 3-ply walls and the thermal cover hold heat well down into freezing weather. The one limit is that the heater will not run if the outside air drops to around 40°F while the spa is cold, so keep it running rather than letting it go cold in a deep freeze.
What does it add to the electricity bill?
Owners running it year round report somewhere around $20 to $30 a month. It runs on a normal 110V household outlet, and the energy efficient cover is rated to cut heat loss by up to 59%.
Is it hard to set up?
No tools and no plumber. The pump inflates the walls and the cover for you, so it is unbox, unroll, inflate, fill with a garden hose and switch the heater on. Two people and about 30 minutes.
Why is the price so low?
We are clearing end of season stock. The price holds while this batch lasts and goes back to normal retail when the sale ends.
How long is this offer valid?
The sale ends tonight at midnight. After that the price goes back to normal retail.
What if I do not like it?
You have 90 days. If it is not for you, send it back and we will refund you in full.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Order today and it should reach you within 10 days. Delivery is free.

What you get with the PureSpa Greywood Deluxe, 6-Person

170 jets, and you feel every one

The bubble ring runs the whole way around the floor, so the massage comes up the length of your back rather than blasting one spot. Owners who have had jetted tubs before keep saying the same thing: the bubbles are stronger than they expected, and it is the part they use the spa for.

Set up in an afternoon

No pad, no crane, no electrician. The pump inflates the walls and the cover for you, then you fill it with a garden hose and plug it into a normal outlet.

Set the heat from your phone

A touch panel lifts off the pump and charges wirelessly when you drop it back on. The Intex Link app does the same job from anywhere, so you can schedule the heater and the filter cycle and walk out to 104°F water.

The high density foam cover is rated to cut heat loss by as much as 59%, and owners in Ohio, New York and Vancouver Island run theirs straight through winter. It holds 104°F while there is snow on the lid.

Firm enough to sit on the edge

Fiber-Tech construction puts 54 internal beams of non-stretch fibre inside a 3-ply puncture resistant wall. It does not wobble and it does not feel like a pool toy.

Excellent upgrade from older models!

As a previous Intex 6 person spa owner (older model), I am really impressed with this one. The new look of the faux wood is great and I like the grey colour scheme as well. The detachable control panel is a great addition and looks much more modern than other Intex spas. You just lay it down on top of the pump and it charges itself. The pump is much quieter than my previous Intex. The bubble jets are very strong and provide a better back massage than traditional hydrojets in my opinion. There is plenty of space in these 6 person models to stretch out and you can fit 4 adults comfortably. The bottom of the spa is nice and padded, so there's really no need for additional padding underneath. Overall, it is a fantastic buy.

Good buy

This is a very nice tub, fairly easy to put together — you'll need 2 people. There were parts in the box but no explanation for them. We figured it out though. All in all a good buy, I would recommend it to anyone interested in buying one.

Research no more — best hot tub you will ever have

So I got this hot tub from Amazon April of 2021. This has been the absolute best hot tub ever!! I have used it often, I keep it on my porch so it's covered and protected from the bright FL sun. I've never had any issues with this hot tub — and here I am now coming into 3 years to the date. The motor and everything is still working great! So for the price and 3 years of nearly everyday use this hot tub is number 1 and I will be getting another. I've had 6 people in this comfortably many times so it's a great size, great price and very easy to maintain. I've always used bromine tablets but did begin using salt about a year ago and that made it even easier to maintain. Not to mention better for skin and it gives a more clear blue look to the water. Love it!

LOVE. This. Purchase.

What a fantastic product! Have always wanted a hot tub but hated the idea of an inflatable tub. Well, I have been fully converted. I LOVE this tub. Am up here all week, year long. I'm on Vancouver Island in Canada and it only raises my monthly electric bill by about $20. It easily seats 4 but you could fit 6 if it was all couples. I have it on my patio which is above my bedroom, and I never hear it running — even sitting right beside it on the patio. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is. Could not adore this product more.

One year review — still a great alternative

We live in the tri-state area of NY. We purchased this last spring, so it's officially been a year. My husband and I are fairly active and wanted a hot tub to help with muscle recovery. Last year we attempted to purchase a permanent hot tub but pricing was over double the pre-covid rates, so we settled on this solution. Our hot tub does get morning sun but is pretty much in the shade in the afternoon. It is on a concrete slab next to our home, outside, with no overhead protection. This is easy to put together and take apart — it came while I was at work and my husband put it together by himself. No issues setting up or operating whatsoever, and changing water will have the temperature back up within a day or two.
